Emily Naifeh Bio: Emily Naifeh enrolled in her first yoga class at 3rd Street Yoga Studio over a decade ago. What had started out as a simple way to move her body blossomed into the most important thing in her life. After falling in love with the ancient yogic philosophy, Emily developed a yoga community circle that gathers once a month and covers the history and philosophy of yoga that is otherwise not often taught in 60-minute asana-based classes. Her approach to yoga is simple: move intuitively, connect deeply with the breath, and focus on the balance of steadiness and ease. She loves to teach functional movement and mobility exercises within her yoga classes, as well as lots of restorative yoga options. Today, she is not only a student at 3rd Street Yoga, but also an instructor and the studio manager. Emily also often teaches for the Metropolitan Library System and is the director of Yoga in the Park in Edmond. Whether you’re practicing yoga for mental, physical, or spiritual health, she is ready to hold space for you.
