Community Connect : Volunteer School Clean Up

The Community Connect is the hub for community support led by The Connect 757's Community Connect team. The focus is to (1) connect black professionals to volunteer opportunities; (2) connect black professionals to leadership opportunities, and (3) connect black led organizations to black professionals looking to support. We will continue to support other organizations but also host our own community service events throughout the year. This is our first event and we are so excited to clean up one of our locals schools just in time for the return to the classroom! We want to ensure students return to school this year to a fun and safe environment. We will be adopting Moton Early Childhood Center in Hampton, Virginia. As a community, we will be cleaning up outside, painting book characters, planting flowers, creating a sensory area, and assisting in making sure the outside is a safe and fun place to return for the school year! We are looking for at least 20 volunteers for this project.
