While the kids are outside enjoying Little SMYAL's Parents Back-to-School event, we'll hold a separate meeting for parents and caregivers. We are hoping to include a presentation from SMYAL's clinical services office and our partners from the local school system. SMYAL's clinical services team will review mental health signs to look out for as your youth starts school. They will also provide mental health support and resources for your youth. We'll also hear from a member of the local school systems, who will review resources for you and your family throughout the school year. They will also go over how to advocate for your child's rights in schools. Lastly, we will end with a chance for you all to mingle with one another and get an opportunity to provide each other with support and resources.
