Description
Looking for some adventure that also makes you some extra money?!
Short duration deployments (a few days to several weeks) for post-storm related work, a lot of hours per day, at a strong hourly rate of pay. If this sounds good to you, read on.
We need more workers (we call you a "contractor") to support telecom and utility companies as they overcome the results of hurricanes, winter storms, wildfires and other disasters. Our contractors work hard and long, get the job done, and get paid well for their time.
We need people who have the flexibility in their schedule to be able to serve and support all the front-line workers necessary to bring vital services back on line following a disaster. You must be 18+ years old, have a valid driver’s license, and a social security number to be eligible as a contractor.
Skilled and non-skilled labor needed. Jobs involve catering; laundry & housekeeping services; flagging & parking; those with electrical skills; logistics and administration; damage assessment teams; transportation of generators, mobile kitchens, and sleeping units.
For many of the above opportunities, prior experience will increase your initial pay rate, BUT no experience is necessary for many positions - and we have free training! Some positions require certifications (like a CDL) or certain equipment (3/4 ton+ truck, pintle hitch, etc). We can clarify all that when we connect.
Speaking of pay rates, you can earn $200 - $400 a day based on number of hours worked, experience, and certifications. Regular rate increases are awarded based on performance. You are compensated for travel to our basecamps. Lodging and food provided. Fuel reimbursement, per diem, and other compensations are given depending on type of work performed.
