CAN I BE REAL Inc. is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Non-Profit. We inspire people to take tangible action against injustices through trainings, workshops, and keynote speaking. NAP Spades Cup was created in 2019 to provide a fun way to raise money for underserved students. We had an amazing time and this year we are bringing it back and bigger, with an even purpose to serve! NAP Spades Cup is Spades Tournament with exhibition spades tables for everyone to enjoy. There will be vendors representing women and minority owned businesses, a DJ, raffles, a cash bar, and a whole lot of fun! Debra Jean is a woman from Indianapolis, IN. The baby girl of 9 children. The energetic talkative one always kept a smile on her face. As a child, Debra was an avid cheerleader for her schools and had the personality that made everyone want to be her friend. As an adult, Debra birthed 3 children, Marc, Zhane, and Sam. One thing she loved doing with them was watch movies. Debra enjoyed any and all movies that made her laugh. Coming To America was her favorite of them all. Up until her sudden passing, Debra was the biggest supporter of her son Marc's passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work. To honor the mother of our Co-Founder, Marc, we will be awarding the Debra Jean Film and TV Scholarship to a minority high school or college student who is studying or looking to study Film and TV.
