About Community Garden Kitchen: Community Garden Kitchen is a no-questions-asked, restaurant-style dining facility serving McKinney and the surrounding community. Over 15% of the county’s residents who live below the poverty line struggle to have enough food to sustain healthy, productive lives, and data shows that McKinney, our county seat, is the epicenter of food insecurity in our county. Our Mission: To serve nutritious meals to those in need in a safe, welcoming place. Our Vision: To be a center of hope and compassion, ensuring that no one in our community need suffer the fear and distress of food insecurity. Golf Tournament: The 7th Annual Kitchen Classic will be held at Eldorado Country Club. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams for both the Men's and Women's divisions. Additional activities include Closest to the Pin, Celebrity Golfer, Longest Drive, and ball drop contents. All proceeds from the Kitchen Classic tournament support the food programs of Community Garden Kitchen.
