About Czubin Industries: Based on the southwest side of Chicago, Czubin Industries specializes in getting old industrial items and buildings back into use. Many industrial items are simply scrapped to recover the metal, and while that’s good, there’s still a lot of embodied energy and usefulness in these old items. Czubin Industries tries to exploit that gap between scrap prices and remaining usefulness to provide materials for makers, artists, and scientists so that they can pursue their passions and experiments without getting bogged down by the cost of new goods.
