This professional development workshop will consist of lecture, demonstration, discussion, museum observation and hands-on learning to assist participants in understanding how activities can be integrated into your library’s early childhood education offerings. At Kohl, they’re serious about play! 9-9:30 am Coffee & Check-in 9:30-9:45 LACONI Business Meeting 10-12:30 Group A: Science Training / Group B: Art Training 12:30-1:30 Lunch on Your Own 1:30-4 Group A: Art Training / Group B: Science Training Please be sure to note that lunch for this event is on your own. Attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch or eat at the museum’s café or in The Glen. Due to limited space and the length of the program, Kohl would like those who are able to park at The Glen (a 5 min walk). This program will be repeated on Friday, September 30, 2022.
