The 48th annual Parker Ranch Labor Day Scholarship Rodeo takes place over two days during Labor Day weekend Saturday September 3rd and Sunday September 4th. It is held annually as a fundraiser to provide educational scholarships for school-age children of Parker Ranch employees. Family-style fun will begin at noon Saturday with rodeo events ranging from team roping, double mugging, Po'o Wai U, to bull riding, wahine barrel racing and wahine breakaway roping. Sunday’s horse auction will begin at 9:00AM and the rodeo to start at noon. Ono food and refreshments will be available both days with ongoing events including the newly added Lei Papale Contest. A variety of vendors will be on hand both days selling onolicious food, western tack, a petting zoo and more. Tickets are $10 per person in advance from the Paniolo Preservation Society Store at Pukalani Stables or $15 at the gate on rodeo days. Children 12 and under are free.
