Diamond Productions presents A Night of Soul featuring good food, drinks and entertainment with Mr. Soul himself, H. Wade Johnson and ensemble. This special evening will be hosted by Kidd Shanard of Magic 107.3 FM. Tickets: $50 (Includes dinner and non-alcohol beverages. Cash bar available.) About H. Wade Johnson H. Wade Johnson, Educator, Performer, Music Arranger, and Clinician is a native of McClellanville, South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Instrumental Music Education and Secondary Counseling at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg South Carolina, and a Masters Degree in Jazz Education, from Vander Cook College of Music in Chicago, Illinois. H. Wade Johnson is currently the Director of Bands at Benedict College in Columbia, SC. Teaching is his calling and music is his passion. Music is a message that brings universal love to one and all. H. Wade Johnson has traveled internationally performing with Fred Wesley, Maceo Parker and Pee Wee Ellis, better known as the original “JB’s” (James Brown Band) and with his own bands “USSENCE” and “PRIDE” Ensemble. He has performed with the late “DIZZY” Gillespie (his musical idol and mentor) Wynton and Ellis Marsalis, Joe Sample, Martha Reeves, The Spinners, The Temptations, The Hawkins Family, Dorinda Clark Cole, Marvin Sapp and many other artists.
