MINNESOTA BROADCASTING HALL OF FAME The Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame will induct five new members in 2022. Inductees are selected based on their unique and outstanding contributions to broadcasting in Minnesota. 2022 INDUCTEES: Dan Barreiro – KFXN / KFAN-Radio Sports Talk Personality -Known as “The Big Ticket”, due to long-time high ratings. Freddie Bell – KMOJ-Radio Executive, Author, and Speaker – Manages two radio stations and hosts three radio shows. Lynn Ketelsen – Linder Farm Network Executive and Radio Personality – Owner, GM, of Linder Farm Network. 45-year career at Linder Broadcasting Group. Dave Lee – WCCO-Radio Morning Radio Personality – 32-year career on WCCO Radio and TV. Cathy Wurzer – TPT-TV and MPR Radio Personality – Morning Edition on Minnesota Public Radio, Almanac on TPT-TV, journalist, and author. CEREMONY EMCEE: Steve Patterson – KTMY / myTalk Radio INDUCTION CEREMONY: Saturday evening, September 17, 2022, at the Pavek Museum in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota. Doors for this event are open at 5:30pm and ceremony begins at 7pm, sharp. Food and Drink will be provided. The ceremony not only celebrates the careers of these distinguished broadcasters, but also raises operating funds for the Pavek Museum. BACKGROUND: The Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame has 191 inducted members beginning with the inaugural class of 2001. The Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame is a service of the Pavek Museum. The Pavek Museum was established in 1988 to preserve and promote the history and science of electronic communication, as well as the values of Minnesota’s broadcast industry. The Pavek Museum and the Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame are located at 3517 Raleigh Ave, Saint Louis Park, MN 55416.
