Mar 13-17, 2023 | MON-FRI, 12:30pm-4:30pm Have fun sewing and learn about selling your work! Campers will create a variety of sewn functional items from garments to household items to accessories like wallets, and more! Learn some of the business elements that go into selling your work and get connected with other likeminded sewists. No prior sewing knowledge required. All camp materials are included. Throughout the week campers will learn: -Skills for sewing machine proficiency and troubleshooting -How to use sewing tools & equipment -Key hand sewing techniques -How to work with seam allowance and the best use for various types of fabric -How to price pieces -How to tap into their creative niche and communicate to consumers -And much, much more!
