We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to work with our East Bay, Alameda Office. Compensation is $20-25/HR depending on experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Resolve, add notes of detailed repairs, and close out assigned daily work orders in a timely manner. Respond to requests and provide exceptional customer service to our tenants/owners. Troubleshooting and making routine repairs in the following areas: painting, electrical, plumbing, minor carpentry, and other building maintenance items as needed. Check the interior/exterior of the properties visited and report damages or preventive measures for future problems to reduce the risk of potential safety hazards to avoid injuries. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with the site staff and internal partners, external vendors, and groups of residents. Ability to take direction to complete assigned tasks independently, and ability to meet deadlines using demonstrated time management skills. Must have your own basic tools. Have a working vehicle and valid driver's license. Previous Property Management experience. Appfolio knowledge is a plus!
