Known primarily as the guitarist for the seminal New York no wave band Swans, Norman Westberg also crafts vast sonic soundscapes under his own name. Westberg’s dark ambient instrumental music stands in stark contrast to the walls of noise constructed by Swans, but is no less intense. Ticket sales benefit the Firehouse Community Art Center, a creative learning space dedicated to the enrichment of Birmingham, Alabama's music community. Opening act: Matt Bryant Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
