Looking for a talented singer to put together a Joni Mitchell tribute band for local shows with a focus on music from her Hejira, Court & Spark, The Hissing of Summer Lawns, and Night Ride Home albums. I have a comfortable place to rehearse/record and will probably have no difficulty getting bookings for this, but your love for her music should be the primary driving factor in any decision to get involved. This music is VERY fun to perform, but honestly, it is not simple material that can be thrown together quickly and will require some dedication to get ready to perform at a professional level. Please be available 1-2 times per week to rehearse until then. This project existed prior to the pandemic, but ended with lockdown. Anyone considering getting involved must be fully vaccinated for everyone’s safety. If you are a political conservative, this is not the project for you.
