Bassist (upright and bass guitar) seeking like-minded rootsy/bakersfield/alt-country/twangy type cats to make some noise. Would like to join or form an ensemble with the goal of playing out for the fun of playing. Think The Knitters, Son Volt, Lucinda Williams, The Sadies, Justin Townes Earl, John Hiatt, Neko Case…….. I’m a 50 yo dude and have been playing bass for 30+ years. I’m a laid-back type who can sing backups and play rhythm guitar as needed. I work a day job and have no aspirations to make music my full-time career.
