We are searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist to contribute to PETRA’s growth and assist in maintaining our position as an innovative authority in the construction industry. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and collaborate with Petra’s Concrete and SPW divisions regarding daily/weekly/monthly equipment maintenance and/or materials deliveries. • Manage upkeep and maintenance of capital investments: equipment, vehicles, tools, service yard, and useable materials • Coordinates and/or orders repairs or replacement parts to ensure tools are available for safe use • Mobilize equipment and/or materials between project sites and the service yard • Ongoing self-education in product knowledge • Manage organization and logistics of all materials to ensure functional and productive organization • Manage yard and warehouse to ensure compliance with company housekeeping standards including maintaining clean and organized containers and shelves • Conduct weekly safety and yard inspections, document findings, and provide inspection reports to management personnel • Oversee inventory quality and ensures accurate quality control • Conduct monthly quality control inspections, document findings, and provide reports to appropriate parties • Attend weekly safety meetings and consistently execute all safety policies and protocols • Manage inventory of safety equipment and materials to facilitate safe working practices and environments • Communicate training needs regarding skills and safety • Other duties and project as assigned, including participation in company committees and/or teams Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record • Completion of pre-employment drug screening and ability to commit to a drug-free workplace • Ability to utilize computers and software to complete assigned duties • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout a shift • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and stoop throughout the work day • Ability to complete tasks while donning safety PPE where required • High school diploma or equivalent
