Description

Oz's original owners left him with a friend when they moved out of state. The friend ended up needing to surrender him. We stepped in and took him at that point. He's been really good with our kids, but we are getting ready to move out of state (to a too small apartment due to a job relocation) as well and won't be able to take him with us. He's extremely sweet. We're not sure what happened to him when he was young, but he definitely has some security issues. He'll cower when you reach too quickly to pet him. He also doesn't know what to do with toys at all. He loves being around other dogs, but usually prefers to watch them play, rather than getting involved. He's never show an ounce of aggression. He's not good on a leash. No amount of working with him has stopped him from pulling. He's old and riddled with lipomas, including one especially large one we were told is inoperable. Oz needs somewhere to live out his days with other dogs and lots of outdoor space to run around.
