We are looking for a good home (i.e. not to be eaten) for two hand-raised white cockerels who are looking for a new home (unfortunately our neighbors are not fond of roosters). These two are still getting their rooster plumage and should be stunning when older. As hatchmates, they should continue to get along with each other. Our chickens are keep in a covered coop with small mesh so they are not exposed to wild birds. Hedemora chickens are a landrace breed from Sweden that are exceptionally cold hardy and they will lay even in winter. Hens lay around 150-200 eggs a year.
