We are busy plastics manufacturing company in Long Beach, CA. We are in search of two General Laborers, who we will train to deburr parts, compression molding or Inventory Control. These are entry level positions with the potential of becoming a Machine Operator. This is a full time position with overtime available most weeks. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare, clean and deburr parts in conformance to customers standards, blueprints and procedures. * Retrieve proper mold and powder to mold material according to specs. * Operate press according to the specs on molding order. * Ability to meet daily production standards. SKILLS: * Must be able to understand and execute actions based on verbal and visual instructions. * Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. repetively. * Stand or sit for duration of the shift (8-10 hours). * Bend throughout the shift. * Able to work in a noisy, non airconditioned environment. * Perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift. * Be able to reach with hand and arms to check product.
