Description
A simple and profound well-being workout developed by Dr. Madan Kataria
that uses pranayama (yoga breath exercises) and sustained voluntary laughter
for no reason with guided techniques.
We receive the benefits of laughter because the body cannot distinguish
between spontaneous and voluntary laughter.
Dr. Lee Berk and Dr. Stanley Tan at the Loma Linda University in California
have researched the benefits of laughing and these are some of their findings:
• Helps with blood pressure
• Helps reduce stress hormones
• Helps give abdominals a workout
• Helps improve cardiac health
• Helps boost T-cells for stronger immunity
• Helps Trigger endorphins
• Helps one experience a general sense of well-being
