We are currently seeking to hire help for our seasonal harvesting roles and are in need of individuals who can work in the orchard to assist with apple harvesting, sorting, packing and bagging. The job will include properly understanding how to handle fruit picking and food safety rules. Packing and bagging will involve carefully sorting, culling, and packing according to instructions for resale, apple slicing, or apple cider production. Seasonal orchard workers will be outside in all weather in the apple orchards. Extensive standing and walking will be required. • Able to lift 50 lb. • Able to climb ladders. • Comfortable handling machinery such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, tractors, conveyor belts, and grinder for apple cider production. • Detail oriented while also being able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Able to work well with others as well as independently.
