Open house and community day! Saturday August 27th from 10-3 at the firehouse. 20 1st street Virginville, Pa 19564 Come out for some food, games, demonstrations and more! Keep your eye open for more attractions to be added… There will be fire trucks, ambulances and police vehicles on display. We will also have displays from the Berks ARL Humane Police, Hamburg Forest Fire Crew, Rescue boats, Berks County Search and Rescue Team, Child safety trailer, Lebanon Special unit 66 and more. Kids will be able to try on gear and use a fire hose You’ll be able to dunk some of the fire chiefs and firefighters in a dunk tank. 2 Berks County Sheriffs K-9 units will be doing a demonstration from 11:30-1. Medevac will be landing at 1pm. Search and rescue K9 demonstration at 1:30 There will also be a DJ playing around the demonstrations. Blazing swine BBQ, By the fire wood fired pizza, Reading snack company and Wayhar Farms ice cream truck will be here. And more to come… Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updated information.
