Brilliant Solutions LLC. provides Housekeeping-Janitorial staffing for a large hospital located in Des Moines and West Des Moines. We have full-time opportunities in the Housekeeping - Environmental Services Department. Multiple shifts avaliable. All shifts are scheduled full time, 80 hours within a two week pay period. All positions require working every other weekend, with every other weekend off. When you work on a weekend, your pay will be $16.45/hr. If you choose to work overtime, you will be paid $24.68/hr. for every hour over 80 hours within the two week pay period. As a Housekeeper, you will spend your day performing routine housekeeping tasks. Your work is essential in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for patients, staff and visitors. You will learn and follow hospital guidelines and procedures. We will provide you with training, uniforms, and all the tools and equipment needed to be successful in your new position. You will be valued and appreciated. Pre-Employment hospital requirements: • Must have hospital acceptable background checks, receive and pass a Tuberculosis and drug test. • Must have had all common childhood vaccinations, and have had the Covid 19 vaccination. Qualifications: • Janitorial/Housekeeping experience is helpful but not required • Reliable, with a strong work ethic, good attendance is very important • Able to work professionally with patients, visitors and teammates • Able to read, comprehend and communicate in English • Able to stoop, bend, kneel, push/pull and stand on your feet throughout your shift • Able to lift trash and linen bags up to or over 50 pounds, lift 20 pounds consistently • Must be at least 18 years old and be authorized to work in the U.S. Benefits: • Competitive hourly wage, $15.45/hr. M-F $16.45/hr.
