He has a non-shedding coat that makes him an option for those with allergies or those who simply do not want to deal with fur. He will require regular grooming. Orion has been a sweetheart since the day he arrived. Here is the report from his foster home! When Orion first arrived at our home, he took some time to sniff every single corner and investigate. He was a tad bit nervous but not skittish. After a few days, he learned the routine around the house and settled in well. He loves to give hugs and kisses every chance he gets and loves to soak up the attention. He doesn't mind sharing the love to his siblings as well. He is a fast learner and smart dog. The first few days after he arrived, he didn't know how to sit and jumped up to me a couple of times to seek attention. He quickly learned this is not the way from other dogs and positive reinforcement. He learned how to sit properly to get the attention. What a smart boy! We get up about 7:30-8am and take a walk around the neighborhood. After we get home, he has breakfast. I go ahead do my work stuff while dogs have access to the backyard where they sniff around and soak up the sun and nap. They go in and out when they please. Our 2nd walk is around 10:30-11am with an afternoon walk around 5-6pm, and then dinner. He usually has a moderate burst of energy after dinner and does play with my dog a bit. He likes to cuddle when we are on the couch watching TV orr just chill where he can see or hear me around. He would prefer to cuddle in bed with his hoomans, but he can also sleep in doggy bed and he generally is good when you tell him to stay in his doggy bed. He sleeps through the night. Orion is energetic and playful but can be a cuddler- he's a great combination of both. He's just generally a happy dog when he's with his people. Orion is mostly housetrained. He is not a huge fan of the crate but we have been working on crate training and he is making good progress. He is such a loyal dog, such a cuddler, fast learner and very smart. With love and patience, he will bloom and give you his family so much love. Orion would love to go to a home with people who will dote on him, play with him, and give him lots of love and affection! He's definitely an option for a home with another dog and would love to have a playmate. Orion is only an option for a home that has owned a dog in the last 5 years. If there are children they should be over the age of 6.
