An urban hike is a walk in the city that includes a sense of adventure. It embraces the urban environment by adventuring through parks, climbing stairwells, crossing intersections, and meandering through the city's obstacles of life. During the urban hike we will walk by a couple gorgeous nature areas right here within walking distance from VWS- Fort Vancouver & the Waterfront. We will also be pausing at a couple different points to savor what's around us and do a mindfulness practice.
The goal of this event is to gather together as a community, show a couple different ways of how to take care of our bodies- movement and pausing to savor what's around us - enjoy the nature right outside our doorstep, and give the participants a couple tools to take home with them.
