Description

PROGRAM Included will be two seldom performed chamber works for violin, viola and double bass. Erste Suite by Fritz Skorzeny and Divertimento in G by JB Vanhal. Percussionist Don Dieterich will join us for several pieces including Take 5 by Paul Desmond, The Typewriter by Leroy Anderson, Flight of the Bumblebee, Begin the Beugine, and some Irish gigs. Don’s “drum set” includes a array of alternative percussion instruments including a desk (slamming drawers), typewriter, telephone, lampshade, desk bells, stampers, garbage cans and a suitcase kick drum.
