This hands-on workshop will go through the process from pre-production, on-location shooting, in-studio shooting, and the essentials for putting it all together in post-production for your client. Peter Marr, Canon’s Education, Field & Sales Support Manager, will lead the class in discussing gear considerations, highlights of the Canon system, working with C-Log and applying LUTs, and much more. This workshop is designed for those wanting to learn and see the start-to-finish process of a commercial video shoot. ABOUT PETER MARR Peter Marr is a Technical Specialist at Canon USA. Since 2001, he’s trained on Canon product from Powershots to professional DSLR and Cinema EOS cameras and lenses. He’s also a freelance camera operator and producer in Los Angeles. ABOUT KYLE VALLA Kyle’s love for image making began over two decades ago while learning black and white film photography in high school. After graduating college with a fine arts degree with a concentration in photography, he began a wedding, portrait and event photography business while simultaneously working in the region’s camera stores. After more than 13 years working in camera stores in Oregon and Washington, he joined Canon in 2019 as the northwest sales representative. Kyle loves teaching and sharing his passion for capturing memories and the gear used to create these images.
