Description

Ben DeHan Ben DeHan creates a unique sound somewhere between Machine Gun Kelly and Angels & Airwaves, with an authenticity that can only be earned as a kid who saw the country through the window of a 15 passenger van and the urgency of a man who has seen the inside of a cubicle. Perhaps best known as a founding member of Baltimore based, Warped Tour 2008 performing, Pop-Punk band American Diary, Ben has re-emerged with a set of genre-bending songs too personal and intimate to release under any moniker other than his own name. His melancholically optimistic lyrics, meticulously programmed beats, and singalong choruses have drawn comparisons to Alt/ Indie artists like This Wild Life and The Band Camino, while the use of acoustic guitars and a “wear your heart on your sleeve” vocal performance will feel right at home for fans of 2000’s Pop Punk and Emo in the vane of Blink 182 and Jimmy Eat World. Pre-order "The Dream" - the latest single by Ben DeHan, available Aug 25, 2022 Jay Byrd Jay Byrd has been a professional guitarist, singer, and songwriter since his late teens. In his early twenties, he co-founded the blues-rock trio The Groov with Kerry Brooks, and in 1996 joined the then-Grateful Dead cover band Wavy Train. Byrd’s original songs and guitar work helped Wavy Train to forge a sound that combined pop-oriented melodies with extended improvisation. After moving to the Washington, DC area in 2001, Jay began crafting songs with a decidedly Americana bent. An award-winning songwriter (NewSong, Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest, Bernard-Ebb Finalist), Jay continues to write and perform original roots-influenced music. His previous band, South Rail, has released three EPs, a self-titled debut in 2012, “Stars” (2014), produced by Don Was, and most recently, “Take The Wheel” (2018). Jay’s new solo album, “At Home Again,” is set for release in August of 2022. Cherub Tree Based outside of the Washington DC area, Cherub Tree members Brenna and Ryan pave a new road in the indie scene with their eclectic musical style – combining influences from genres such as punk, folk, grunge, pop, lo-fi, and rock. With acoustic folk-inspired songs like “I Miss”, to uptempo indie-rock songs like “Serein”, Cherub Tree’s deep resonant tones are complemented by their soft, somber melodies and poetic, narrative lyrics. Cherub Tree transitions to a full four-member band for live performances, which allows them to showcase their songs in a much more dynamic and upbeat manner. They are ecstatic to perform and demo their upcoming EP for their hometown crowd in Vienna, VA, this July 2022.
