Every year on the 9th day of the 9th month there is a strengthening of the vibration of the number 9, creating the 9:9 Gateway. Looking deeper into the number 9 it signifies creation and completion. Before a new one can begin, a cycle will be completed or end. During this powerful portal, you may feel ready for change, an evolution if you will. Using the vibration of the number 9, let's reclaim our power. Our 9:9 Gateway Portal Cacao + Cord Cutting Ceremony will be hosted and facilitated by Certified Pranic Healer and Karuna Reiki Master, Founder of Divine Light Council - Amy Carta. Our ritual will begin with a Cacao Ceremony in which we will commune with the spirit of the cacao plant. During this ceremony we will dive deeper into our intentions, opening our hearts while drinking ceremonial grade cacao ethically sourced from Guatemala. Our ceremonial cacao is 100% certified organic, vegan, keto, gmo-free, soy-free, gluten-free, and sugar-free. Following the Cacao Ceremony, we will participate in a powerful Energetic Cord Cutting Ceremony, removing all negative attachments and unhealthy ties that may be energetically and spiritually draining you. We continue the ritual with a breathwork journey to recalibrate our energetic and spiritual bodies. And finally, end with a reiki-infused sound bath meditation for balance and grounding. FAQ What is a Cacao Ceremony? A cacao ceremony usually involves a communal gathering with a sacred circle, music, and of course, ceremonial cacao. It is an ancestral ritual used to open up the heart, traditionally practiced by the Maya and Aztec civilizations. What is Cord Cutting? Cord cutting is a healing technique to help “unhook” you from draining or unhealthy emotional dynamics, freeing you from relational patterns that squander your mental energy. It is important to note that cord cutting does not seek to remove healthy emotional bonds with loved ones; rather, it clears away emotional obstructions that are limiting you consciously and unconsciously. What is Breathwork? Breathwork refers to any type of breathing exercise or technique. People often perform them to improve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. During breathwork, you intentionally change your breathing pattern. There are many forms of breathwork therapy that involve breathing in a conscious and systematic way. Many people find breathwork promotes deep relaxation or leaves them feeling energized. What is Meditation? Meditation is a practice that involves focusing or clearing your mind using a combination of mental and physical techniques. What is a Sound Bath? A sound bath is a meditative experience where those attending are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, and tuning forks set to different frequencies. What is Reiki? Reiki is a spiritual healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei), which means "Universal Life," and (Ki), which means "Energy." Reiki is not associated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is not massage, nor is it based on belief or suggestion. It is a subtle and effective energy work using spiritually guided life force energy. No experience is necessary. This is a safe space where there is no judgment! What to bring: We will provide meditation cushions and some blankets. Please bring a pen & journal, water, and anything else you may need to be comfortable: a blanket, eye mask, pillow, etc. Dress comfortably, preferably loose, and light clothing. You will remove your shoes for the healing experience. Parking: Free Street parking. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Doors Open at 7p, not any earlier. We will be intentionally setting up the space and the energetic vibe prior to opening our doors. We will begin our ritual at 7:30; please be mindful of arriving with enough time to park and get settled in our space.
