Event Info The Arlington Foundation for Excellence in Education in partnership with the Xi Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated ® and University of Texas at Arlington Trio Pre-College Programs is excited to host the 18th annual Youth Education Success (YES!) Summit. The 2022 YES! Summit will be held in person on October 15, 2022, for students in grades 6-12. It will provide students with an opportunity to network with their peers and attend a variety of workshops on leadership and self-sufficiency for academic and personal success. Workshop topics for the YES! Summit includes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) awareness and education, college preparation, and self-development. This year’s YES! Summit will also feature vocational schools to introduce students to careers in the areas of Culinary Arts, Cosmetology, and First Responders. There will even be informative financial and college prep workshops for parents. Participants attending this complimentary event will also have a chance to win some exciting giveaways!
