EmpowerHer is an initiative to uplift and empower young girls to be confident, gain knowledge, ask questions without fear, get support, be mentored and more. The Future is Female The Future Is Now is the second event that started with JeMarie, Kyrsten, and Cicely and now bringing on more local powerful women, Christa to spear this mission. You are in for a dope event that will not be the last. About the EventAs a way to boost morale and confidence in school, we will have workshops that elevate and empower these young ladies. Workshops:Loving On You facilitated by Christa Griffin author of Best Selling Daily Mantras for Sis and HIM This workshop explores ways to use words to empower and motivate young ladies. The words we speak shape our destiny. We want young ladies to build "power" vocabulary, daily routines, and actions that will give girls the confidence to step into a room unapologetically themselves. Fit is Lit- Remaining in Alignment facilitated by je'Marie founder of the amazing Youth First Fitness This workshop will provide and demonstrate daily stretches and encourage girls to stay consistent and committed to their health and lifestyle choices. Girls will be given worksheets to take home with them Vision Board and Goal-Setting facilitated by Cicely Carr, the founder of Kindred Creatives Art and Literary Press This workshop will show girls the power of writing the vision and making it plain, to have hope and a plan for their future. Girls will create micro vision boards that they can carry with them every day to keep their vision close by. They will learn about goal setting and creating routines for success.
