JOIN US FOR THE 2022 GLOBAL MALA! We will practice our 108 sun salutations, guided by local teachers from many of our amazing local yoga studios, to raise funds and awareness for the Asbury Surf Club! The Asbury Park Surf Club is advancing access and ocean education equity for students in beach side, former Abbott communities that have a history of limited access to the ocean and local beaches. The APSC understands the ocean is a healing place. When children surf & connect to their natural environment, they grow. They acquire self confidence, improve in peer relationships & experience an increase in emotional processing and self-regulation. Their mission is to bring mindfulness, wellness, health, and environmental awareness to children in these seaside communities. LET'S SUPPORT THEM! Now what can you expect on September 11, 2022: 1. Doors will open at 8 AM 2. Meditation begins at 8:30 AM 3. We will hear from the Asbury Park Surf Club and introduce our 2022 teachers at 9 AM 4. 108 Sun Salutes begins right after! 5. SAVASANAAAAAAAAA 6. A yin practice with Jordan Marciano to finish out your Mala experience, kicking off 15 minutes after the completion of savasana. Stay if you can!
