This event is being held to support our partnership with Homes For Our Troops whose mission is to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. C.H.I. has been a partner of Homes For Our Troops for the past 7 years providing garage doors on their homes throughout the US. We have also made it part of our mission to fund one entire build for Homes For Our Troops this year. This leads us to what we call at C.H.I., Project Chambers. Brian and Ryann Chambers were welcomed into the Homes For Our Troop family last year and their home is currently being built in Attica, IN. The Chambers family will be present at the Color Run and we hope that you will greet them and thank him for his service to our country! We are not charging an entry fee for this event, but we are welcoming donations to Homes for Our Troop. We will accept cash or check donations (made payable to Homes For Our Troops) on race day. Check in will begin at 8:30 at the main entrance into C.H.I.'s office. We will begin the 5k run/walk at 9am sharp. There will be color stations throughout the course. You are only doing this race correctly IF you are laughing, smiling and having fun! We will host a kids 1/4 mile fun run with color at 10am for kids 12 and under. This will start on the west end of the C.H.I. entry down by Yoder's. We hope to see you there!
