Please join us for a fundraising event in support of the Tasabia family. Josh Tasabia is the San Joaquin County deputy who was alongside El Dorado County deputy Brian Ishmael on the morning he was fatally wounded, on October 23, 2019. Both men were shot while responding to a report of theft at a marijuana grow in south county, Somerset. Despite taking a bullet in his hip, Tasabia pulled Ishmael away from the line of fire. Josh has not been able to return to his dream career in law enforcement due to this incident. This serious injury has also caused financial troubles for the Tasabia family, who have been in a two-year battle to receive disability benefits for Josh. Aji Bistro is proud to host this fundraising event in support of the Tasabia family. There will be music, raffle prizes, and a silent auction. Please stay tuned for the dinner menu.
