Description
When Reed was found, he was a wiggly, tail wagging, happy pup. Now, he is set to be euthanized 8/12 5pm! He needs a foster to save him!
When animal control responded to a "stray dog call", they arrived to find the "finder" moving out of house and Reed in a kennel. The finder was able to walk Reed to the truck almost as if he knew him.
Reed needs an immediate Foster and Pledges to make it out alive!
My name is Reed #a4767940. I'm a 3-year-old Cattle Dog mix (58 lbs.).
Reed has a rescue willing and ready to help but MUST have a foster!
When I was found, I was wiggly, tail wagging, happy pup! I jumped on truck no problem. I thought we were going for a fun ride. Boy was I wrong! I was brought onto the ramp on a snare. That wasn't a good start! Ouch, that hurt! So, now instead of being all wiggly and happy, I'm scared and hide in the back of my kennel. I did allow a new person to slowly pet me under my chin. I really liked that. And guess what? I know how to walk on a leash! I Did freeze up when the dogs were aggressively barking at me. Who wouldn't? That is scary!
It's unknown how I do with other dogs, so I'll need be kept separate from other pets until I get to know my new home and peeps. Then I'll need a safe and slow intro!
The shelter is full because our humans are dumping us! They say I must be gone by 5 pm 8/12 because they need my kennel for another dog like me!
I need a foster by 8/12 5pm.
Reed is in Phoenix AZ. Please call
if you can foster me.
