Sacred Rage is the spiritual fuel that moves us and transforms us through our pain, it's the catalyst for our healing and transformation; it is cultivating a heathy relationship with our anger and channeling that energy into something beautiful. Society and condition have taught us that our anger is toxic, it's not pretty, it's not healthy, it's shameful and so from an early age we learn to suppress it. We learn to stuff it all down and pretend it does exist - and then one day we wake up and we no longer know how to express our anger in a healthy way. Our bodies forget how to process it and it shows up as physical symptoms of pain disease, anxiety, stress, sleep disorders, weight, etc. When we spend our lives ignoring it, we lose our ability to actually understand it, to feel it and channel it into something healthy and use it for fuel to transform our lives and relationships. This workshop is purposed to help you reconnect to the anger you've spent your life burying, to express it through art and then to tear it all up and release it. To start processing it out, understanding its power, to witness how ignoring it has been a disservice to you and to start seeing what magic you get to bring in to fill up the space you've cleared. Workshop will include a meditation, a coloring activity followed by healing exercises and journaling. ***Art supplies will be provided. Please bring your own journal and pen. Dress comfortably. The studio has mats for seating; however, you may bring your own mediation pillow to sit on. Workshop hosted by Spiritual Healer and Shadow Work Coach Brittany with Harmonics of the Soul LLC.
