Dear Soul Music Co Presents the Unplugged+Live: Lunchtime Edition! Sponsored by the ASC Culture Blocks, a community partnrship funded by Mecklenburg County. This all ages event features live performances during your Thursday lunch hour with free meals for registered seniors! Upcoming Dates Include: July 14 | 11-12:30pm August 11 | 12-12:30pm September 8 | 11-12:30pm A little bit about the series: Founded in 2013 by singer-songwriter Arsena Schroeder, The Unplugged+ Live Series is a touring concert series in support of independent singer-songwriters. The series was initially a house concert with the idea of a listening-room experience in mind. In 2015, Unplugged+Live received grant funding from the NC Arts and Science Council. Since then the series has drawn local, regional, and national acts expanding from private living rooms into local venues across the region. Each show features two (or three) hand-selected acts for an intimate show allowing listeners to engage with their original work. To date, over 150 regional acts have featured in this series now expanding to Atlanta, GA and Austin, TX. We believe independent artists gain loyal fans through these experiences so we create them!
