I have county's permit for my family daycare.MAT, CPR & First & Aid certified. Master's degree in child psychology. I use my entire house for day care, as I don't believe in confining the kids to only one section of my house, like most people have a basement-only daycare. So each child in my care has their own bedroom unlike a nursery where all the cribs are lined up together. Since I believe that sleep is very important for little ones especially infants since their brains are doing most of the developing during nap time. 99% of the previous kids I have had in the past have been infants. I have helped them grow until it was time for them to leave for preschool. All my experience has been with infants that have grown into toddlers. I help develop the kids, build motor skills and build a foundation of necessary skills they will need. During the day, we read books, play pretend games, play with many toys, and go into my backyard where I have a play set that includes swings and multiple slides. My house is located in Herndon, VA, which is only 15 minutes away from Dulles Airport.
