The Independence Sustainability Commission is hosting a neighborhood clean-up event on September 10, 2022. The event will be held in the McCoy neighborhood east of McCoy Park. The cleanup efforts will focus on N. Spring St., N Osage St., and N. Liberty St., between 24 Hwy and W College St. Clean-up will be between 9 A.M. and 11 A.M. on Saturday September 10, 2022. Participants will meet in the northeast parking lot of the Mid-Continent Public Library-North Branch, located at 317 W 24 Hwy., Independence MO. Clean-up supplies including trash bags and gloves will be available.
