About the film: The upcoming third installment, “Recipe for Change: Amplifying Black Women,” centers on the powerful stories and experiences of Black women and celebrates their perseverance and strength while making space for joy and the power of sisterhood. Each table brings together powerful women including Mary J. Blige, Saweetie, Tabitha Brown, Chlöe Bailey, Winnie Harlow, Kelly Rowland, Jackie Aina, Keisha Lance Bottoms, Roxane Gay, Sarah Jakes Roberts and more to discuss important and timely topics such as codeswitching, colorism, and mental health. Dope AF will host the screening followed by a crucial conversation about the importance of celebrating and uplifting Black women, and how we can contribute as individuals and the importance of centering Black Women voices and Experiences.
