RECEIVING CLERK Role and Responsibilities The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the physical movement of all received items from staging to storage areas, movement of all completed or partially completed work in process inventory to designated staging areas, supplying work centers with all materials and supplies used in production and ensuring that all product moved is properly identified and quantified. Responsibilities: • Incoming inspection – using guidelines, instructions, and resources from SOP’s to determine goods to be accepted or rejected. • Ability to accurately perform duties that require basic math aptitude. • Ability to read and interpret Packing Slips & Invoices to compare to PO’s in Quick Books • Processing documents and materials from inbound shipments • Excellent attention to detail • Able to communicate effectively and clearly with all team members. • Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped (using the FIFO method). • Safely drive a forklift to stage material, load trucks, unload trucks and transfer material within the plant as needed. • Notify team members if items received match or do not match PO’s when goods are received via receiving ticket • Provide an accurate count of goods received • Take pictures of containers received to provide details regarding the way it was loaded • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment • Process required paperwork to ensure received goods are handled in inventory systems (Access) appropriately. • Perform daily inventory as needed. Communicate information to the Inventory Coordinator to help maintain inventory. • Comply with all Company employee safety policies and procedures. • Identify safety risk and make suggestions to improve the safety of our workplace. • Performs all other duties as assigned. Occasional bending and twisting; Occasional stair climbing; Pushing/Pulling 30 – 60 pounds of force; Occasional reaching; Repetitive use of wrist, hands, and fingers; Frequent use of shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles. Must be physically able to safely operate powered Industrial Equipment such as forklifts. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively. Qualifications and Education Requirements Excellent Communication Skills (Written/Verbal) Minimum High School Diploma Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook) Technically savvy Self-starter individual who can work well independently and with a group Basic knowledge of problem solving, and logical/critical thinking Excellence in Service to our customers (internal & external) Respect and Accountability to self and others Bilingual English/Spanish is a must Preferred Skills M365/Teams/SharePoint QuickBooks and/or Oracle Knowledge Lead/Management experience 2+ years’ is a plus Forklift experience 2+ years’ SAP or WMS knowledge Inventory control Knowledge of OSHA regulations Lean Manufacturing is a plus IF YOU MEET ANY OF THE QUALIFICATIONS ABOVE, PLEASE CONTACT (702)331-5306.
