V Dubs & More is seeking a Full Time Automotive Technician ASAP V Dubs & More is a local family owned and operated shop that handles all your automotive needs including specializing in European models. V Dubs & More has been in business in the Helena area for over 18 years. Seeking an automotive technician ASAP to join our team. Position is Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm with competitive pay. Automotive Technician duties include but are not limited to • Maintains vehicles’ functional condition by listening to operator complaints and conducting inspections. • Repairs mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replaces parts and components. • Compiles vehicle records by recording service and repairs. • Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and preventive maintenance. • NO European vehicle experience necessary – will train if necessary Automotive Technician skills and qualifications seeking Successful candidate will have various skills and qualifications, including but not limited to: • Experience using hand and power tools to replace and repair parts. • Minimum of 2 years of automotive experience • Understanding and knowledge of the automotive industry and or lube and tire technician experience • Knowledge of technical and mechanical procedures • Strong reading skills and understanding of service manuals • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. • Great attention to detail • Fast learner with ability to learn European vehicles • Strong communication skills • Ability to work in a shop environment • NO European vehicle experience necessary – will train if necessary Automotive Technician Work Hours & Benefits Schedule is Monday to Friday 8 am – 5 pm. Paid holidays, Paid time off. Pay is dependent on experience $15 - $30 per hour. Automotive Technician should have their own set of basic hand tools. The shop supplies the specialty tools.
