Drywall Repair Approximate Size: 3 x 6 hole in basement ceiling. You will complete the following: - Assess, square up opening, add backing as needed, and prepare for repair - If needed, add additional fasteners to the surrounding area to ensure existing drywall is sufficiently secured - Insert drywall - Apply drywall tape on seams - Mud 2-3 coats as needed - Sand - For textured surfaces: Texture to match/blend with existing wall and make prime- and paint-ready. Debris will be bagged for homeowner disposal
