Description
We have a 2 year old male Quaker parrot who's very social and loves human company. Quaker birds typically bond really close to one person (he is mostly close with my little sister) and he overall loves meeting new people. He doesn't bite and has been potty trained. He'll sit on your shoulder all day and play with you when you rub his head or talk to him. So far he only speaks to mimic "good boy" when you say it to him but may learn to speak more as he grows. He knows to respond to kisses and at the end of "if you happy and you know it" song. He's a wonderful bird to have for younger kids of 10-16 especially since he's been trained and has lived with a family of 4. He is scared of kids under 5 due to their habit to chase or poke but he simply flies away from them.
We didn't want to sell him but we're unable to take care of him now that we're getting busy with our daily lives. In the process of moving so we need him to be re-homed soon. I would highly recommend getting him with another bird or pairing him with another bigger parrot if you have one already. He doesn't like being alone and requires attention.
Cage is included but our bird has always been cage free and likes to chill on your shoulder or on the TV for most of the day. Message me for more details. Located in NOVA
