Sydney’s Pet Spa is Leawood's finest pet care facility, providing pet lodging, daycare, grooming and training. As one of our Front Desk Receptionist, you will greet clients in a friendly, upbeat and professional manner. You will also check our client's pets in and out, answer the phone, respond to emails, and keep track of the day. Receptionists also work in the back and help take care of the dogs and cats, feed and give medications, monitor daycare, pick up pet waste, spray and clean the facility, and make sure the dogs and cats are happy and healthy every day. Customer service and animal care experience are required for this position. Responsibilities and Duties Sydney's staff will need to do the following: Be on feet for the majority of their shift Lift and move up to 50 pounds Be accustomed to dog and cat urine, feces, slobber, and hair Pay close attention to detail Communicate well with a team Take constructive criticism well Have patience with the dogs and cats Have glowing customer service Be dependable and punctual Clean the facility Feed & medicate the dogs and cats Have a happy & positive attitude with clients & coworkers. We have multiple shifts available for this position between 6am - 7pm Sunday - Saturday.
