Looking to rehome a 3-year-old Female American Foxhound dog

Description
We rescued a beautiful 3-year-old American Foxhound named Ruby from the Humane Society and unfortunately are looking to rehome her. She has the sweetest and most loving nature. She's gentle, very friendly, mellow, not high in energy, and extremely easy-going. The reason we are looking to rehome her is due to our first and original pet not getting along with her. We tried giving it time in hopes that they will adjust, but it does not seem to get any better. As much as it saddens us to find Ruby a new home, we feel as though it's not fair for her to live in a place where she can't get a moment of peace (at the expense of our other dog). Despite our first dog consistently expressing aggression and unpleasant behavior towards Ruby, Ruby still reacts with patience and grace and does not engage in conflict, and simply tries to walk away. The issue is that our other dog follows her around the house throughout the day and does not give her a moment to relax. This is a constant occurrence no matter how many times we separate the two and no matter how much we condemn this behavior and try to discipline our first pet. Our main goal was to get sweet Ruby out of the pound and we are so glad that we rescued her. However, we are saddened to see that she isn't getting the life that we believe she deserves. This puts both pets under constant stress. This isn't fair to either one of them and we are hoping we can find her a better home (ideally without any additional pets), however, if there are other pets, ideally the pets are friendly and accepting towards other animals. Ruby is fixed and micro-chipped. She is genuinely the best dog and has the sweetest nature and anyone who gets her will be very lucky to have her. We are not asking for any money and are happy to gift her to the right family. We will also provide all the documents that we received when we rescued her, a leash and a collar, a couple of bowls that we purchased for her, and a heart guard (protection against heartworms) that we purchased for her. If you are interested to schedule a meet and greet to meet her, please contact us at . Thank you.
