Position description Perform various Preventive and Corrective Maintenance tasks to maintain and repair equipment and systems. This includes mechanical, electrical, controls, and pneumatic components. Apply analytical and manual skills in inspecting, maintaining, installing, calibrating, troubleshooting building systems and equipment. Operate high pressure boilers, chillers, and generators. Use a variety of machines, hand tools, and test equipment commonly used by Technicians including, but not limited to, multimeters, airflow hoods, flowmeters, and gauges. Must be able to prioritize work to see the needs of the patient come first. Complete work orders as assigned and in a timely manner. Record work time electronically in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Maintain inventory and recommend supplies and equipment for purchase. Attend and participates in classes, seminars, workshops, and other continuous education as appropriate to enhance professional knowledge and skills. Perform utility management. All other duties as assigned by supervisor. Technicians perform work with minimal supervision. Night shift 6PM to 6AM, Set 2-3-2 schedule. Every other weekend. Qualifications Min. 2-year associates degree in MEP trade Or Certified Healthcare mechanic certification. 3-years experience in a related field. License or certification Driver License is required. Exemption status Non-exempt Compensation Detail Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $25.36 per hour.
