Guitarist Wanted For Post-Punk/Grunge Band

Modern Fictions, a grunge and punk blues quartet, are looking for a new lead guitarist (original one left the NYC area). Our EP is on Spotify and such, but only highlights the barbed-wire blues side of our sound (think early White Stripes/Black Keys). We like the big, catchy riffs that connect the dots of badass from the 70's through the 90's and onto the 2000's. Definitely looking to move on to bigger venues and festival slots, as well as recording a few singles and potentially a full album by next summer. We do like to add elements of complexity to the songs - unusual scales, time signatures, and what-not - but our eyes are always on the prize of being tuneful, purposeful, and emotionally-felt in our songcraft. Ability to sing background a plus, but not necessary. Into fun and being chill, responsible people - no hard drugs, outsized egos, or unreliable flakes, thank you very much. Other projects perfectly acceptable, but must commit to weekly rehearsals in Brooklyn (Gowanus, typically.)
