Requirements: Lawn Maintenance Experience: 3+ Years Required Valid NC Driver’s License: Required Bi-lingual NOT required, but highly preferred. Applicants must be able to pass a drug test. Job Description Four Seasons Landscaping and Maintenance is seeking an experienced, competent applicant for a Crew Leader position in a fast-paced, high-productivity environment. We are seeking highly motivated leaders seeking to grow with our expanding business. Excellent communication skills and genuine honesty are a must. Our goal is to hire a qualified applicant with a hunger to grow in his or her respective field, and therefore grow with us. We work hard to ensure there is work year-round so as to not lay off good help, including extensive fall leaf maintenance work, continual contract services, cross-training off seasons opportunities, and snow services. Responsibilities and Tasks required of Crew Leaders include, but are not limited to the following: competence in mowing: must exhibit efficiency operating push mowers, zero-turn mowers, and stand-on mowers. competence in operating string trimmers (weed eating). competence in operating metal edgers. competence in debris removal, and chemical weed control equipment and techniques. knowledge of grass types, and proper understanding of their care. knowledge of various bushes and shrubs, and proper understanding of their care, including when and how to maintain. communication of jobs’ status using our Four Seasons job tracking mobile app. communication of properties’ status and trouble areas as soon as noticed to expedite appropriate and satisfactory actions. competence in using general tools, and troubleshooting minor equipment maintenance issues. organizational skills and habitual cleaning of equipment and vehicles to ensure functionality. knowledge of various weed control and turf management chemicals and their applications is a plus. willingness to learn and be trained in weed control and turf management chemicals is expected of crew leaders. willingness to be cross-trained and alternately utilized in various other job capacities, i.e. usually large-scale multicrew mulch, pine straw, drainage, landscaping, tree jobs. ability to work outdoors, consistently, for extended periods of time, in any weather conditions, including snow. A valid driver’s license is a near-must. We are understanding and willing to work with qualified applicants. Expectations Crew Leaders are a heavily depended upon position within our company, and we have low tolerance for absence without valid notice (usually a week’s notice significantly helps us shuffle. Be a considerate employee.) Work weeks run Monday through Friday. Saturdays are rare and Sundays we are shutdown. Pay Period runs Thursday to Wednesday, and weekly payday on Friday morning with few exceptions. NO pay will be given in advance. Benefits are extended to full-time employees who exhibit longevity with the company, and include, but are not limited to, competitive, experience-based pay, paid holidays, and various bonuses.
